Custom “Ratchet Pen”
Objective: One of the nation's largest tool manufacturer's was looking for a vehicle to promote one of it's best-selling products, both to it's Distributors and to the Consumer.
Strategy and Execution: IMC Custom suggested that the shape of this item would lend itself to a custom pen, and set about to see if a twist-to-open ballpoint mechanism could be engineered into the space available. The factory and engineer concurred that it was workable, and the client placed the order. Upon receipt of the hand-made prototype, the client became so excited about the product that they doubled the order!
