CASE HISTORIES-Moma Click Ball Perpetual Calendar
MoMA Click Ball Perpetual Calendar (M-CL81)
Objective: A major software manufacturer wanted to generate publicity and anticipation for the launch of their latest software.
Strategy: The distributor presented the MoMA Click Ball Calendar and it was chosen because the manual aspect of the push button and the decidedly retro look were perfect to show the lengths the world has changed with computers. They also felt co-branding with a Museum of Modern Art piece had a natural rapport with the new, modern software.
Result: As a result, all point-of-sale positions around the country reported an increasing interest in the new release as the date approached and their customer service center was busy fielding calls about price, installation and applications.
