IMC Croco Collection
Objective: An upscale, direct-mail, ladies clothing line was looking for gift-with-purchase items as an incentive to prospective buyers of their spring launch. It was to be a tiered-level gift and depending on the purchase amount, the buyer would also have their choice from a selection of gifts. The spring launch clothing was advertised as their Jungle Safari Collection and the firm wished to somehow tie the gifts to that theme.
Strategy: The distributor presented items from IMC's new 'Croco' collection. The client felt the visually powerful, black croco detailing on each item themed perfectly with the company's spring clothing line. The company's ability to engrave their logo on the reverse side of each item gave them increased visibility without being obtrusive.
Result: The program was highly successful with buyers regularly spending an additional amount to receive another gift-with-purchase.
