Tuscany Passport Case (IMC-APP457)
Challenge: A large company with a national sales force was holding an annual meeting for their 300 US sales representatives. In the past, meetings had always been held in the US, but this year the meeting was taking place at a Canadian resort and the company wanted to provide the sales reps with a gift to excite them about the sales meeting. The gift had to be professional and have a high-perceived value to represent the quality image for which the company is known.
Solution: Given that passports would now be required to enter Canada, the idea of a passport case was presented. The distributor presented International Merchandise Concept's Tuscany passport case with its retail-driven design and buttery soft feel. Since free laser set-up AND free laser personalizations are offered with this piece, each salesperson was able to receive the passport case imprinted with their name as well as the company logo.
Results: The salespeople loved the item, especially with the personalizations. Many remarked that the personalization made them feel more like individuals than a nameless sales force. Additionally, since many of the company's clients are in the travel field, the company re-orders the passport cases as holiday gifts for many of their clients.
