ToGo Tote (IMC-ATB201) Case History
The Challenge: The maternity department of a major hospital was seeking a "going home" gift for families with newborn babies. They wanted something personal, yet attractive and functional.
Strategy & Execution:The distributor presented the IMC "ToGo" Tote Bag. In the closed position, it was small enough to store in quantity in the hospital, yet when opened the tote was an ideal size for carrying extra bottles, diapers and the assorted mélange of baby items necessary for even a trip to the market. The added offer of IMC's 'No Charge' personalization on the flap would allow the hospital to have a bag personalized for each family. Additionally, since sonograms are required and the bag is offered in pink and blue, the hospital would be able to make the gift gender specific because of the sonogram's ability to distinguish the sex of the baby.
Result: The IMC Tote received great reviews from the hospital and new parents. It was a unique selection for a departure gift in a maternity ward and the families appreciated the functionality and the personalization. The success has resulted in the hospital regularly reordering the bag.
