MoMA 4-in-1 Travel Game (M-TG270)

Objective: A large financial firm was seeking a unique, congratulatory gift to award new account executives upon passing their grueling licensing exams. Since the recipients had incurred months of studying and days of exams, the company wanted to show their appreciation while maintaining a light touch with something atypical to the financial industry.

Strategy: The distributor presented the MoMA Travel Game as an alternative to the routine pen or padfolio. In addition to the company logo prominently displayed on the cover, the client enclosed a note congratulating them but telling them to always remember, “Investing is Never a Game.”  

Result: The firm loved the strategy and the opportunity to co-brand with the most popular museum in New York was an added bonus. The recipients enjoyed the gift and there have been several re-orders for use as a prospecting tool for new clients.
